The Beginning of Sorrows (Birth Pangs)

Matthew 24:6-8

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

We are living in unprecedented signs.  This is the only time in history where all of the signs that Yeshua warn about are ALL visible simultaneously and so dramatically.  Without question, we have to stay vigilant and ask why all of these changes are taking place.  These unprecedented times are what Yeshua(Jesus) referred to as sorrow  The word ‘sorrows’ was translated from the Greek word ‘ōdin’ which literally means ‘the pain of childbirth, travail pain, birth pangs’.  Since Yeshua was specifically referring to what happens before child birth, we have to consider HOW labor pains work.  The initial pains of labor start several minutes apart.  As the actual birth draws closer, the labor pains get more intense, increase in number and get closer together.

Please study the graphs included in  this post and understand their meaning.  All graphs pointing to the words of Yeshua demonstrate that the birth pangs are getting more intense, increasing in number and getting closer together just as the scripture refers.

Also note that the term ‘nation’ in this biblical text comes from the Greek word ‘Ethnos’ which is referring to the different ethnic groups.  Please note the increased division among different ethnic groups in the past 16 year and particularly in the last election season.  Hate crimes and rhetoric are on a historic rise.

Please stay vigilant, acknowledge the reality of our present situation and put your trust in Yeshua.
